But with 3 antenna options to chose from, which is the best setup? I own the all 3 wi-fi antennas from Alpha: 5dBi omni-directional, 7dBi panel, 9dBi omni-directional. So if you are a 1 out of 10 this might be a bit of a challenge to get up and running but it does work well once you tweak it. I'm in RV parks/resorts most of the winter in SoCal and most offer a park WiFi set up that is very slow. The way it works is the more people in the park the slower it gets which is common in these kinds of set ups. I paid more for my Lynksys which is what I was using before this. The Lynksys picked up about 7-10 signals with the best one running around 30%. The instant I plugged this in I was receiving 15-20 signals and the highest one running at around 82%. This is by far the best wifi antenna I've ever used. Some folks say that it frys there usb port, but I've had this for about 2 months with no problems at all and I've got a cheap little e machine.
