Luckily I found the answer quickly via google on the cisco support forums. The solution is to disable WMM (Applications & Gaming > QoS > WMM Support). 0 How disappointing to have to deal with such a problem for a new router. UPDATE: Make sure you update the firmware to the latest version. Try this first before changing any settings. Speed is up 30%, connection is better, jitter and packet loss is virtually nonexistent, and haven't yet had an unexpected disconnection. Also, this router gives you lots of options for limiting certain types of traffic and prioritizing tasks (of which I haven't yet fully explored). I'm not someone who has tested lots of routers, but I can say I'm pleasantly surprised and happy to only pay $32 for my factory refurbished model. 0 One Con, and it's minor in my opinion: The setup program that came on the CD with the router did not work for me. It could not discover the router for whatever reason (even though my computer could see it), so I was unable to use the setup program.
