Well, balderdash I say! I needed to purchase through the website on a computer, but when I went to my apps tab on my TF it was there for me to download. I was given an error once or twice initially, but once it started it completed fine, and installed on the first try. I launched it immediately and played through a couple levels fine, no lag or anything. For complete transparency, I will state that my TF is rooted and I have a custom ROM on and overclocked up to 1.4ghz, so I cannot say 100% that it will work on a stock TF. I just think it should be tried while it is available as a free app. As far as the rest of peoples concerns, I think the size (74 megs? Really?) is a bit extreme, especially considering the fairly low res graphics. Game seems to run smooth though, sound was what I remembered from the PC. You can use your... Initially trying to install using the Amazon App Store App told me it was incompatible. Went to my browser, went to the Android App page at Amazon, clicked the button, and when I reopened my Amazon App it was there waiting to be installed. I had to do a factory reset for the pad itself and couldn't retrieve back this app anymore. So I figure out myself how to re-install Peggle app via Bluetooth file sharing. -Need a compatible device first, e.g. any smartphone. -Both devices must install Bluetooth app which is free to download from the App Store or Android Market. -Turn on the Bluetooth and pair with each other. -Click the drop-down button on the compatible device. -Click "Send Applications". -Checkmark "Peggle" app. -Send it to "Transformer TF101". -This app will be store in SDcard folder (not the removable SDcard). -Be patient because this file size is very large and might takes about an hour. -After its done, rename this "pkg" app to "Peggle". -That's it! |
