Now, with modest use (email, phone, ipod, and a few games), I get about half a day (~12 hrs)on the expansion battery before hitting the iPhone battery. Early on, it was well over a day. Not shabby still, but what then happens is that you spend basically the same amount of "down" time (at desk, overnight, etc.) charging the pack as you did with the iPhone alone, only it takes really long to fully charge (several hours), because you need to charge it daily.
