I was surprised at the color, which was more pink than purple. The picture's not really misleading, purple's just not the right name for the color. It seems well made and well-designed. The magnetic clasp works well for both holding it closed and keeping it open when you are reading. It does have a chemical smell to it, not a leather smell. It don't know if that's from dyes or glue. I'm assuming it will dissipate over time. The price (about $10 including shipping) seems very good for what you get.

This protective cover works very well. The kindle fits perfectly, it is lightweight, and the left side of the cover folds back out of the way quite easily. I have a book light that I use as well and it clips to the cover easily without any interference with reading the book. And the price was very reasonable. I would recommend the protective cover to anyone who is looking forprotection for their kindle.

I'll be honest I ordered this particular case because of the price and one review of a guy who said that the color you can hardly call purple but more like hot pink.. So, being a girl and all i thought:"ok, i want it"... When i got it in the mail i was pleasantly surprised with that cause it wasn't purple-purple and not hot pink-purple, but rather kind of a nice bright lilac.. the color i really liked... So, i was like: "whoa, that's so cool!"
