I thought cases were supposed to cost $5 until I got my iPad1 and every stupid aftermarket case I bought sold for $30-$50. I finally bought the case made by Apple for $40 and I LOVE it because it is extremely durable and most importantly LOW PROFILE and adds negligible thickness/bulk/mass. This sold me on spending whatever it takes to get exactly what I want. So I have been looking for something similar to the iPad1 case for my Fire. Of course, I am not going to find it because every aftermarket case stinks and Apple makes the only case I really liked. So I searched and searched for something that would offer decent protection and MOST IMPORTANTLY minimal added bulk. If you don't know what I am talking about, I am referring to those stupid leather cases which are 3/16" thick on BOTH SIDES and more than double the size of the tablet. Ruhdonkulous. The Acase(TM) Kindle Fire Deluxe Lightweight Slim Case Folio with built-in Stand for for Kindle Fire Full Color 7" Multi-touch Display, Wifi (Black) is a really high quality case that also has a built in stand so it's easy to prop up and watch. The case itself seems like it's made to last a real long time. It's really tough too, I've dropped my kindle in this thing 2 times on accident already and no dings or damage to the kindle, so in my books it paid for itself 10 times over on at least 2 occasions so far. It's slim and it's lightweight and protects the hell out of your kindle! Once you get one of these cases I'm sure that you'll agree with me too! |
