| 67 of 73 people found the following review helpful:  Nice App, But Must Be Careful, By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: WiFi File Explorer PRO (App) I've used serveral different types of apps like this to transfer files between my machines and this one works just as great as the others and is a very good app. If it has any negatives I would say it is less clear on stopping sharing once you are finished with it. Most of the other apps have a "Stop" button in one for or another, this one does not. To stop the server you must hit the back button, if you exit using the home button it will leave it running in the background leaving your phone open to anyone familiar with the program to steal your data if your on a public wifi or somewhere else besides your home. With the default configuration being no password, I can see a lot of users accidently hitting hitting the home button and leaving their phones wide open. Peole just don't pay attention, they need big buttons that say "stop" and "start". So great app, but I would warn people, make sure you exit using the back button so you don't leave your... When I work out, I like to watch shows I've downloaded from my Tivo on my phone. But trudging downstairs to hook up the phone and wait for the files to transfer was such a hassle. This program works flawlessly. My main computer is downstairs (where the Tivo'd content ends up after transcoding), but most of my life is lived upstairs, where my phone usually is. I can jump on my wife's laptop and send shows from my computer downstairs to my phone upstairs, and I'm ready to roll the next day. I highly recommend this app and this developer. The app was recently updated with some killer new features. One caveat: I also had this app on my Hero and it didn't work well. But that was because of the defective wifi in the Hero.
