The issue was however I never took the time to look at channel conflicts. Well firing this app up immediately shows you what channel networks around you are on in a great graphical way, shows signal strength, etc. It's a great, free tool! I changed my network to the channel with the least usage and my network say some improvement. I would imagine having 5 networks all on the same channel around me wasn't helping.
