I was so looking forward to receiving my Kindle Fire, but was quite frustrated with my inability to hold it to read without inadvertently turning pages. This case is the perfect answer! It puts a border around my Kindle Fire screen that I can hold without causing something to happen and it allows me to prop up my Kindle Fire to read or watch a video hands free. It appears to be leather (even though the product description clearly states that it is synthetic), smooth on the outside and suede on the inside flap which touches the screen when closed, and the stand is sturdy enough to be useful. I like the lime green color, although some Kindle owners might prefer something more conservative. Other colors are available. The price was quite reasonable for the quality of this item.

Ordered this the day I got my kindle, and I love it. Feels like leather, is sturdy and keeps my kindle secure. My only complaint is the lack of a magnet or Velcro closure for the case. Over all, I am satisfied with my purchase.
