All of the other screen protectors I've used have some level of blurriness or a sparkly look to it. I highly recommend this as an economical way to get three well-cut crystal clear films. It will show fingerprints a little quicker than, for example, the Griffin Screen Care protector, but it's FAR easier to clean vs. matte protectors. That said, it is VERY difficult to install without bubbles/dust/etc underneath. To do it properly requires two things: 1. A dust-free environment: I highly recommend doing this in a a bathrom after you've had a shower. This will reduce both the dust in the general environment and the dust/particles generated by your hair & skin. 2. VERY carefully line up the camera and the home button. I will post 2 or 3 pictures as "customer's pictures" for the product. Bought this Acase screen protector for my ipad and also bought the iphone version based on reviews (I always spend half a day reading reviews before buying something). :) I managed to apply it perfectly (the pictures show a spot in a corner, that is not a bubble). The bathroom trick and scotch tape works (also a rocked blower that I use to clean my DSLR lenses). It is clear and I like it not being matte. It feels close to the naked glass, but has a little more drag to it. You can see the rainbow effect in different type of lightning, not just fluorescent (I don't have fluorescent lights and the pictures are taken in bathroom under CFL lights). On the other hand I saw enough reviews that gave clear instructions on how they went about installing theirs with no problems. The secret is to work in a foggy bathroom, take your time, and thoroughly clean the iPad and surrounding area so you do not attract any fuzzies.Once installed I don't even notice the shield - the quality is far better than the couple of dollars spent, and I have 2 spares in case I ever want to replace the one already in place! |
